Reasons to change the eligibility to work document
You can change the eligibility to work document when:
The employee provides a different document e.g. passport, visa, or visa settlement status.
The original document was entered incorrectly and needs correcting.
The employee’s nationality or work status changes for example, visa renewal or new immigration status.
You need to upload updated documentation for compliance or audit purposes.
Change an employee's eligibility to work document
To change an employee's eligibility to work document, follow the below steps:
Find the employee using the organisation search
then click Person.
Click Profile then scroll down to eligibility to work.
Click Edit where it says the type of identification used to verify the employee is eligible to work in the work in the UK.
Click Edit and choose the desired option.
