You can change the brand an employee is assigned to when the information shown on their payslips or payslip enquiries needs to match a different brand setup.

You can change the brand when the employee’s payslips or enquiry information should follow a different brand configuration.

Reasons to change the brand an employee is assigned to

Common reasons include:

  • Different payslip branding: the brand controls the template used for payslips, so changing it updates the branding that appears on items like payslips.

  • Different enquiry contact details: each brand can have its own enquiry information such HMRC contact details shown in the Self-Service payslip enquiries page.

  • Fixing payslip PDF errors: if an employee doesn’t have a brand assigned, the system may show an error when they try to open their payslip PDF because it doesn’t know which template to use.

Change the brand an employee is assigned to

To change the brand an employee is assigned to, follow the below steps:

  1. Search for the employee using the organisations search

    then open their profile.

  2. Click Employment then in the Employment section click Edit.

  3. Click the Brand drop-down then select the brand you want the employee to be assigned to.

  4. Click Save.
