📌Note: You need to have the add
and edit
permission named Employee Posts.
You can transfer an employee to a new post when their role changes and you need their profile to reflect a different position for example, a promotion, a move to a different team, or a change in responsibilities.
It’s also useful when you need to split one post into two separate posts and move some employees onto the new post. A transfer updates their In post from date to the start date of the new post, and it can also change their access if the new post has different roles and permissions.
🤓Tip: If the change is only temporary, a secondment is usually better for longer changes, and borrowing is better for short term change
