What's new?
Custom Reporting - Self-service Claims Dataset
We're pleased to introduce a new dataset within the Custom Reporting feature, specifically designed for Self-service Claims (Expenses). This enhancement enables administrators to create, edit, and share reports tailored to Self-service Claims, with fields including, but not limited to, Claim Type, Description, Amount, Submission Status, Approval Status, and a detailed breakdown based on Expense type.
How it works
Custom Reporting Administrators can now select the Self-service Claims dataset when creating a new Custom Report. Please note that during your first use of this dataset, you will need to trigger the initial data load. Additionally, a new setting titled ‘Custom Reports - Self-Service Claims Dataset - Claim Date Limit’ has been introduced.
This setting defines the amount of historical data returned within the dataset; however, please be aware that increasing this limit may impact performance when refreshing the dataset.
Benefits
This enhancement provides greater flexibility by enabling reporting on Expenses, a capability that is not currently available through Standard Reports.
Employee API – Continuous service date
We're pleased to inform you that we have updated the available fields within our Employee API to include the Continuous Service Date for employees. This enhancement offers API users the flexibility to utilise the new date alongside the existing Start and Post Start Dates to better meet their requirements.
Important Note: While this change makes the Continuous Service Date available within the API, please be aware that your third-party providers will need to update their API calls to incorporate this new field.
How to access this update
This release is available automatically from 19 March 2025.
