You’d change the helper text so the little “?” tooltip gives clearer instructions to users when they’re filling in that field.
For example, if the field is a bit ambiguous, you can update the helper text to explain exactly what to enter or what format to use, so employees complete it correctly first time.
You can change the text in the helper message, shown in the system with the question mark icon, by following the below steps:
Click Configuration then click Settings.
Click Field Settings then find and select the field setting you would like to change.
Enter the text you want users to see when they click the question mark icon.
📌Note: This field has a maximum character count of 100 characters so the text you enter must be less than 100 characters to be able to save successfully.
