You can now send push notification on Access People and HR Rota app to keep your employees up to date about actions that have been taken.
📌Note: There’s no manager functionality available on the app, so temporary cover doesn’t affect it. When an employee submits a request, the mobile notification will still be sent to the original manager’s device, rather than the one providing cover.
Actions covered in push notifications
The push notifications cover a range of actions including but not limited to:
Publication of the user's rota.
Actioning of a leave request.
Actioning of a vacant shift request.
Addition of a payslip to the user's profile.
Enable push notifications
As an administrator, you can enable this feature, if you follow the below steps:
Expand Configuration then click Settings.
Expand System Settings then click Global.
Search for Mobile App - Push Notifications.
By default, this setting is set to false, disabling push notifications.
Click into the setting and change the Boolean drop down to be True.
📌Note: Your employees will still have the flexibility to disable push notifications on their devices through the app settings, allowing them to manage the notifications preferences.
