As an administrator, you can enable rota rule for open sickness which is designated to prevent payroll discrepancies by ensuring all open sickness are resolved before completing a rota.
To enable this, follow the below steps:
Click Configuration then click Settings.
Expand System Settings then click Global.
Search and click on Enable Rota Rule for Open Sickness.
To activate it, simply toggle the setting to On or True.
By default, the setting is off or false.
When enabled, the following rules will be applied:
Mandatory Rule Enforcement: If any employee within the rota has an open sickness record, an infringement rule will be raised.
Action Required: This rule cannot be ignored, meaning all open sickness records must be closed before the rota can be completed.
Detailed Insights: The infringement rule page will display the impacted employees, allowing administrators to take prompt action.
