If you are setting up an absence trigger notification , you will need to create an absence trigger to make the system activate the trigger once the number of days or instances of sickness were booked by an employee.
β
To do this please follow the steps below:
Click into Settings, under Configuration or Admin Menu, depending on how your system is configured.
Click Module Settings and then click HR.
Click Absence Trigger and then Add Absence Trigger or click into existing trigger if you want to amend it.
You can either Add Days- number of days off sick in total.
Instances -number of sickness records booked in total.
Bradford Factor Trigger -the total Bradford factor calculated on employee's profile.
Select Trigger Period, number of days or instances booked throughout a selected period of time.
Select Trigger Level, for example, 4 sick days will trigger level 1 and 8 sick days will trigger level 2.
If you select Obsolete, the trigger won't be visible or active.
Click Save.
πNote: You can add multiple sickness triggers, however, each needs to look at days, instances or bradford factor score individually.
Sickness triggers do not trigger
If your absence trigger is set to use Or More at Level 1 then this may be the reason that trigger Level 2 is not reached.
πAll triggers need to be resolved before any more are triggered. If an employee has triggered level 1 then this needs to be resolved before level 2 will trigger.
To resolve a trigger, you need to follow the below steps:
Find the employee using the organisation search then click Employment.
Click on Absence.
Click on Sickness Triggers.
This opens the Sickness Trigger screen.
Select the trigger that needs resolving.
This will open a new dialog window.
Complete Resolution Type, Resolution Date, Resolution by and Notes if required.
Click Save.
