Add a point in time change to holiday entitlement, in a few easy steps.

You can add a point in time change to any holiday entitlement on the system. This can be useful if you need to change the allowance for multiple employees in bulk from a selected date.

Common reasons are:

  • Changing the standard allowance for a role from a set date e.g., new policy.

  • Adding extra holiday days for one specific leave year only so it doesnโ€™t repeat next year.

To add a point in time, change to holiday entitlement, follow the steps below:

  1. Click Settings, this can usually be found in Configuration or Admin Menu, and then click Module Settings.

  2. Click HR and then select Holiday Entitlement.

  3. Select the Holiday Entitlement and then click on Add a point in time change to this template.

  4. Fill out the details:

    • Effective Date - when you want this change to apply.

    • Days or Hours - select if you are adding a change in days or hours.

    • Length of Service - select if you want to add length of service.

    • Entitlement - actual number of days or hours the entitlement will be changed to.

  5. Click Save.
