You can add a training event or a course.
Create a new training event
You can create a new Training Event by following the below steps:
Navigate to your Training Management tab, generally located under Admin Menu.
Once you click into this field a screen will display four different tabs where you can access the different Training Event options like:
Training - training courses.
Training Events - finished training events.
Not Yet Closed - training courses not closed.
Closed Training Events - training events that are closed.
πNote: This will give you the option to either add courses or events, but also to view any that have not yet been closed and those that have.
Add new course
To add a new course, follow the below steps:
Click on the Training Course tab.
Click on the green Add Training Course button.
Enter the Course Title and complete the required fields.
Description - these are optional fields comments, aims and objectives, target group, invitation text, regret text.
Results - you can add any qualifications by choosing from the drop-down list.
Pre-Requisites - this is where if another course needs to be completed.
Material - you can upload any documents or material that is required for this course.
Cost code - these can be added if required, then click on save.
Add a training event
To add a training event, follow the below steps:
Click on the Training Event tab and click on Add Training Event.
This will open up the Event Wizard.
Enter the mandatory fields like Course Title, Cost Basis and other required fields and then click Next.
Unaccredited Trainers - search for the relevant employee and click on Add Trainer, the employee will show below, click Next
Number of Attendees - the maximum optimum and maximum can be set or tick the overfill box, this will allow you to add more attendees below, click Next and then click Save.
After you saved the event
Once you have saved the new event, follow the below steps:
Click Back in and then click Open.
Select the Reminders tab then click on Add Reminder.
Choose either Generic Email Reminder or Email Template Reminder.
Change Type - gives you the option of changing the reminder type.
Enter the Name - email body, select the option to generate the email, this can be days, months or weeks before or after.
Recipient - you can then select who you wish to send the reminder to, all attendees, creator, or organiser, CC - you can add additional recipients
4. Click Save then click Save again to the Event.
πNote: Once a training event has been completed this will show in the drop-down list on the finished training events, not yet closed.
