If you have previously set the national insurance (NI) number field option to not provided but now need to enter this in the employee's profile.
Enable the NI number field
To enable the NI number field, follow the below steps:
Click on your Settings, either under Admin Menu or Configuration tab.
Click into Field Settings and search for NationalInsuranceNumber or FormData_Person_m.NationalInsuranceNumber.
Click into the actual setting.
You will then need to select from the Display dropdown Optional or Mandatory.
Click Save.
Check employees' profile
This should then populate the field box to enter the NI number follow the steps below:
Go to employees' profile then click Profile tab.
Click Edit on the profile.
This will then allow you to select the option provided and then enter the NI number
After making the required changes, click Save.
