You can delete a document with the required permissions.
Permission required
πNote: If you have permission but can't delete a document due to an "in use" error, it might be because the document has acknowledgments or is used in another area of the employee's record, e.g., disciplinary, meeting, probation. Instead of deleting it from the documents area, delete it from the relevant disciplinary, meeting or probation record.
To delete documents from other employee records in the system, you will first need permission to do this. The permission is titled employment documents permission, and you will need the can delete element to be ticked.
Delete a document from the library
To delete a document from the library, follow the below steps :
Go to Configuration and then click on Content.
Click on Documents then click Self Service.
Click Self Service again and click the document you no longer want.
Click Edit in the top right, and then click Delete.
Delete a document from an employee record
If you want to delete a document from employee's profile, please follow the steps below.
Go into an employee's profile.
Click on Documents and then click Docs.
Click into the document that you want to delete.
Click Delete.
πNote: Make sure that you are deleting the correct document as it will not be stored in the system after it has been deleted.
