If an employee profile is displaying red traffic light diagnostics, this could mean that the background check on file for the employee is expiring soon.
The background checks global setting set to true means that the system checks if the background check requirements have been met or not, and flags this against the employee's profile using the traffic light system.
To turn the background checks global setting on or off, follow the steps below:
In the left-hand menu, click the Settings tab.
Expand the System Settings then click the Global tab.
In the Name field, search for Background Checks.
Click into the setting and set the Boolean field to be True or False, as required.
Click Save.
📌Note: If an employee has already been flagged for a background check expiry, changing the setting will not impact this employee and their background check documents will need to be updated.
