Revenue streams are rota variables and will allow you to capture the sales data for your business such as food and drink within your Access People rotas. The sales data can be imported directly from your EPOS provider once a revenue stream has been configured within Access People.
β
To create a new revenue stream, follow the below steps:
In the left-hand menu, under My Team, select Rotas.
In the top navigation bar, select Variables.
Depending on where you wish the new revenue stream to be present:
All sections - expand Global - Sections
Only specific sections - select the required section from the drop down list then expand Custom - Section.
Click the Add Revenue Stream button.
You will now need to enter the details of your revenue stream:
Order - This will be the order in which the stream is displayed in the rota.
Name - This is the name of the variable and how it will be displayed in the system.
Unique Name - This is the unique name for the variable and will be visible in Data Manager budget uploads. If you chose to set up Custom - Section revenue streams earlier, a good practice would be to combine the Name and Section to make up the Unique Name.
Display Type - This determines how the variable will be displayed, setting to Number is recommended.
Forecast - This should be ticked for variable to show during the forecast stage of the rota.
Actual - This should be ticked for the variable to show during the actual stage of the rota.
Show on Rota - This should be ticked for the variable to begin showing on new rotas.
Show on Dashboard - This should be ticked for the variable to show in the Dashboard tab within Rotas in Access People, you will not need to set the Hover Text, Icon and Obsolete values.
Click Save.
πNote: When a new rota is created, you will begin seeing the new revenue stream on the rota under Forecast Revenue and Reforecast/Actual Revenue rows on the weekly view and also in the day view under Revenue.

If you create a new revenue stream, contact us with the name of the variable and the import key used in EPOS, for the configuration to be finalised in Access People Hospitality so your sales can begin importing from your EPOS provider.
