Change a notice period

You can change a notice period to make sure the terms of their employment are still accurate.

Written by Relu

You can change a notice period for several reasons; most common ones are the following:

  • Contract updates: for example, if the employee signs a new contract with a different notice period.

  • Role changes: some roles like senior positions may require a longer notice period.

  • Correcting a mistake: if the original notice period was entered incorrectly, you can update it, so the record is accurate.

You are able to change or amend the notice period by following the below steps:

  1. Find the employee using the organisation search then click Employment.

  2. Click Position then click Edit.

    • This populates the employment details.

  3. Update the Notice Period by choosing Days, Weeks, or Months.

  4. Click Save.
