When adding a new starter to the system, you have the ability to select an appointment reason from a drop-down list to identify the reason the employee has been appointed.
You can also set this for existing employees via their profile within the Position tab under the Employment menu against their employment details.

You can set up new appointment reasons by following the below steps:
Click System Settings then click Settings.
Click Module Settings then click HR.
Click Appointment Reasons then click Add Appointment Reason.
Add your description required, e.g. 'Leaver Replacement or TUPE.
Click Save.
