πŸ“ŒNote: Before terminating an employee on the system, we highly recommend you run leave accrual for this employee to ensure that their final holiday pay figure is correct.

To terminate an employment, follow the below steps:

  1. Search for and select the required employee that you need to terminate.

  2. Click into the Employment tab then click into Position.

  3. Select Termination and enter the last date of employment and the reason for termination.

  4. Click Next and the holiday pay tab will open.

  5. Click Final Holiday Pay then click Get Balance then the system will calculate the final holiday pay that employee is entitled to.

  6. Click Next into Sickness.

    • This will allow you to add any last-minute sicknesses for that employee.

    • This screen will also allow you to close any sicknesses that are currently open.

  7. Click Next into Account.

    • Enter a personal email address for the employee.

    • This will allow the employee to request a password reset to the system if they need to retrieve their P60 or any payslips.

  8. Click Next into Account.

    • Fill out the leavers form, this section is not mandatory.

  9. Click Submit.

πŸ€“Tip: We recommend that any hourly employees are processed as leavers in the system on or after their employment end date to ensure that the final holiday pay is correct.

Un terminate an employee

⚠️Important: If you click delete person or delete employee by mistake contact us with details of the employee who has been deleted. It may take some time to restore the person or employment record to your system.

To un-terminate an employee that was created in error please follow the below guidance:

  1. Navigate to the employee's profile.

  2. Within their profile, click Admin then click again Admin.

  3. Click Un-Terminate.

πŸ“ŒNote: Please check with your payroll officer to ensure that this employee hasn't been exported as a leaver. If the termination has been exported and processed for a P45 to be generated, you will need to re-employ the employment rather than reversing the termination.
