Add a new standard location group

You can add a new location to a standard location group, in a few easy steps.

You can add a new 'Standard Location Group' to keep your expenses and mileage locations organised, so people can pick the right place quickly and consistently.

For example, you might create a group called 'Head Office', then add individual locations inside it like different buildings or addresses. That way, when someone logs travel or costs, they can select the correct site from the right group.

To add a new location to a standard Location Group, follow the below steps:

  1. Click System Settings then click Settings.

  2. Expand Module Settings then expand Expenses Settings.

  3. Click the Standard Location Groups tab.

    • Here you can see a list of existing Standard Location Groups or click the Add Standard Location Group button to add a new group.

  4. To add a new location to an existing group, click into the required group.

  5. In the top right of the Standard Location Group, click the Add Location button.

  6. Enter a Name and Postcode for the location into the text fields.

  7. Click Save.

📌Note: The new location should now be visible when using the Expenses module in the system. If you have any further issues or queries relating to the Standard Location Groups or their locations, contact us.
