Utilise labour optimisation dashboards

You can use rota dashboards showing labour optimisation figures.

The Access People rota area contains different graphs, charts, tables and figures relating to the weekly rotas for budgeting and spend, absence and staff turnover information. There are also specific dashboards related to Labour Optimisation.

Accessing the Rota Dashboard

If you have the Labour Optimisation module enabled, you can access the Dashboards by following the below steps:

  1. In the left-hand menu, expand My Team and select Rotas.

  2. You will now see the main Rota overview page, in the top banner locate and click into Dashboard.

  3. Use the Organisation button to filter to the required section and select the rota start date you wish to view information for.

  4. You will now see the individual widgets for the rota week.

πŸ“ŒNote: Within the dashboards area, you should see headings for; General, Daily Charts, Subsection Tables, Shift Code Analysis and Clocked Times. These will include dashboards such as Summary, Staff by Hour/Subsection, Hours Worked and Wage Cost per subsection among others.


Utilising the labour optimisation dashboards

Alongside the rota dashboards, you will find dashboards specifically for labour optimisation. These include dashboards such as Revenue and Labour by Day, Revenue and Labour by Day vs Last Year, Revenue by Day and Staffing Levels, broken down by day and subsection.

You will find the Labour Optimisation dashboards within the General, Daily Charts and Subsection Tables headings.

  • Revenue and Labour by Day - This chart shows the forecast and actual revenue alongside the wage cost forecast and actual as well as the budgeted figures.

  • Revenue and Labour by Day vs Last Year - This chart is the same as the above but introduces a comparison to last year's figures for the same rota week for the same site.

  • Revenue by Day - This graph shows two lines for the forecast and actual revenue.

  • Staff by Hour - This chart shows the total number of staff scheduled per day.

  • Staff by Subsection - This chart shows the total number of staff scheduled per subsection per day.

  • Labour Optimisation - This chart shows the staffing level against the demand based on the set minimum staffing levels to see where you are under or over staffed.

  • Hours Worked per Subsection - This table shows the forecasted and actual hours worked for the week, in comparison to last week and last year's figures, broken down by each subsection.

  • Wage Cost per Subsection - This table shows the forecasted and actual wage cost for the week, in comparison to last week and last year's figures, broken down by each subsection.

  • Wage Cost per Subsection per Pay Type - This table shows the breakdown of the different pay types (e.g. hourly, salary or shift) per subsection and includes the forecasted and actual figures.

  • Shift Code - Shows the rota hours by shift code for each employee. This includes the forecasted hours and actual hours worked for that shift code.
