If you have a large number of sections in your system and use the Time Tracker module for your clocking in/out of the rota, you may wish to combine some sections into Section Groups and then have the Section Group display on the Time Tracker screen.
Configure Section Groups
If you do not have section groups configured already, you will first need to create a section group. If you already have a Section Group configured, ensure you have assigned sections to the required groups.
Configure Time Tracker to use Section Groups
Now that you have configured your section groups, you will need to amend a global setting in your system so that Time Tracker knows to use the Section Groups rather than the standard sections. To do this, follow the below steps:
Click into Settings in the left-hand menu.
Expand System Settings and click into Global
Search for Time Tracker Clock - Use Section Groups? True/False Defaults to False
Click into the setting and set the Boolean drop down list to be True.
Click Save.
πNote: On the Time Tracker page, Section Groups now appear first. Select a group, enter its password, then choose a section to let employees clock in/out using their employee number or shift PIN.
