Previously, self-service users had default access to view forecast shifts on the mobile calendar screen. We now have a new permission which enables you as an administrator to regulate whether self-service users can view forecast shifts. This feature is now behind the
new permission, which allows you as an administrator to apply it to users as needed.
To find the permission, follow the below steps:
Click Configuration or Admin Menu, depending on how your system is configured.
Click Roles and Permissions then select the required role on which you want to have this permission on.
Click Role Permissions then click Edit Permissions.
Search for Rota – Forecast Shift and enable the View option to grant self-service users the ability to view forecast shifts.
Click Save.
Make sure you run a batch update so that these changes reflect instantly on the system.
📌Note: Users with this permission will have the option to filter forecast shift visibility directly from their mobile calendar screen. This filtering option will only be accessible to users with the appropriate permission enabled.
