Check holiday carry forward and leave statistics

You can check holiday carry forward and leave statistics by following the below steps:

  1. Click on Configuration and then Settings.

  2. Click on Module Settings and select HR.

  3. Select Absence period scheme.

  4. Use Carry Forward to move all leave, Generate Stats reports unused leave and carries it into the next period.

πŸ“ŒNote: This will adjust the remaining entitlement to zero and should therefore only be triggered once the Absence Period has ended.

Global settings carry forward leave

There are three Global Settings that now control the carry-forward process.
You can set :

  • the maximum number of days that can be carried forward.

  • the maximum number of hours.

  • the validity period in which any carry forward entitlement must be used.

You can cap carried-over holiday days and set a validity period for using them.

If the cap is 5 days and an employee carries over 10, only 5 are added.
The validity period, e.g., 3 months from the Absence Period start, sets a deadline to use carried-over days.

  • If all 5 days are used by the deadline, no loss.

  • If only 2 are used, the remaining 3 expire.

  • If exactly 5 are used, entitlement stays unchanged.
