The system prompts employees to clock in again when they try to clock out

If employees are prompted to clock in again when they try to clock you, you need to check your system settings.

If an employee is clocking out and they are asked to clock in again instead, this is likely due to the global setting Rota - Use Day Hour Start setting for clocking out check being set to true. If this is set to false, then the employee will have 24 hours from the time they clock in to clock out again.

To change the value of the global setting please follow these steps:


1. Within the menu options on the left-hand side of the screen, Click Settings tab.
2. Expand System Settings and then select Global.
3. Within the input field titled Name, enter Rota - Use Day Hour Start setting for clocking out check and select the search icon.
4. Click into the setting and set the Boolean drop down field to be False.

πŸ“ŒNote: The next time employee's clock out of the system, they should have no issues provided they are clocking out within 24 hours of the clock in time.
