Create a notification

You can set up a notification, in a few easy steps.

To set up a new or amend an existing notification, please follow the steps below:

  1. Go to Settings, usually within Configuration or Admin Menu depending on your system set up.

  2. Click Notifications then click Add Notification or Click into a notification you want to amend:

    • Description, notification name.

    • Type, select Date or Process.

      • Date.

        • Table, which table this notification will be linked with.

        • Field, which field within the selected table.

      • Process.

        • Process, select the process that will be linked to this notification.

    • Add Email

    • Save.

  3. Click Save.


Set a notification to be sent to a specific employee

To change who a notification is sent to, you will need to change the recipient field within the notification. To change this, please follow the below steps:

  1. Navigate to Settings then select Notifications.

  2. Select the notification you wish to change.

  3. Next to Emails, click the Edit button on the right hand side.

  4. Change the Recipient drop down value as needed

    • Employee will send the email to the employee who triggered the notification, Reports To will send the email to the line manager of the employee who triggered the notification and Other will allow you to enter an email address for the employee who should receive the notification.

  5. Click Save.
