To be able to use a base template to configure a simple, manageable home page content selection. A custom home page layout may require additional chargeable consultant time unless this area can be managed by a client in house resource HTML/CSS knowledge required or an external web design company. In this scenario, a system user can be created where, upon log in, all that user can access is the Home Page design screen. This is achieved following these steps:
Click on Configuration or Admin depending on set up then select Users.
Click Add User then complete all mandatory fields with the user info.
Click Save and go back into the user you have just created.
Click Permissions tab and then Edit employee permissions button.
Search for Pages and select Can View, eye icon so it turns green.
Click Save and then check the log in to ensure all the user can see is the Edit Home Page button and nothing else.
Let your user know their username and password.
