Bank holidays are not automatically included in the holiday entitlement. However, we offer the option to add bank holidays separately to all team calendars.
Add bank holidays
You can add bank holidays and public holidays to all the team’s calendars by following the below steps:
Click Configuration then click Settings.
Click Module Settings then click General Settings.
Click Public Holiday then enter the date of the public holiday.
Click Save.
📌Note: If someone has booked holiday on the same day as a public holiday, their holiday allowance doesn’t reduce as public holidays override booked holiday. You can also add leave periods.
Add a point in time change
You can add extra holiday days for a specific year, that won't repeat for the next year, by following the below steps:
Click Settings, then click Module Settings.
Click HR and select Holiday Entitlement.
Select the holiday entitlement you need to change.
Click Add a point in time change to this template.
Enter an effective date.
This should be the start of the leave year you're updating.
In Entitlement, enter the total number of holiday days for the updated year.
Click Add a point in time change to this template.
Enter an effective date.
This should be the start of the following leave year.
In Entitlement, enter the total number of holiday days to return to the following year. and the click Save.
