If you are looking to increase the number of sick days you are paying your employee's, you will need to add a new sickness scheme.
β οΈImportant: You will need to contact your account manager first and payroll executive as this is a chargeable option and will require mapping this out to all employees. It could be arranged that this is pushed out for you to all employees, however, you can follow the below but get confirmation first.
After confirmation, follow the instructions below. The current scheme cannot be amended due to historical data. Managed services should contact their payroll executive to update the days in the payroll system and get the new code and description for the HR scheme.
Add new sickness scheme
Click Settings, either under your Admin tab or Configuration tab.
Click Module Settings and then click Payroll settings.
Click on OSP Group then click Add OSP Group.
You will then be required to enter the same description and code provided by your payroll executive.
Update all posts required
You will be required to update all of the posts that require the new sickness scheme, to update a post follow the below steps:
Click Admin then click Post Setup.
Search and click into the relevant post.
Under the Pay Details tab click the Edit button.
From the OSP Group, select the new scheme from the dropdown options.
πNote: This will apply to all employees assigned to that post.
