There are a couple of important things that you need to keep in mind when correcting an employeeâs loan balance:
Loan balances are normally updated automatically once the employee loans export has been run.
If the balance is wrong, itâs usually because a loans export was missed, which means a transaction wasnât included in the balance calculation.
In that situation, the correction needs to be done on the database, not in the front end. The missing transaction must be added and the outstanding balance recalculated.
