To make the title for an employee as optional, follow the below steps:
Click Configuration then click Settings.
Click Field Settings then search FormData_Person_m.TitleId and FormData_PersonPre_m.TitleId.
Click into the setting then change this from mandatory to Optional or if you want it to be removed completely click Disabled.
Click Save.
