If a manager is no longer with the company but an employee has submitted leave requests and these have not been approved, you need to contact us and provide the following information:
The name of the manager who has left.
The name of the person who needs approval.
If you want to avoid this happening again, you can also update the employeeโs post so the correct leave approver is set going forward by following the steps below:
Find the employee using the organisation search then click the Employment tab.
Click Position then click Post Details.
Select Approval then click Approvers.
Select the correct approver then click Save.
๐Note: If the employee is able to, they can also escalate the request to a different approver in the meantime.
