You can give an employee access to a vacancy when you want them to review or be involved in that role, without giving them access to all vacancies.
Common reasons
Common reasons why you would give an employee access to a vacancy:
Theyâre part of the hiring process such hiring manager or interviewer.
They need to review applicants for that specific role.
You want to limit visibility to just that vacancy, not the whole system.
To give an employee access to a vacancy, you can click into the vacancy within the Vacancies menu option and select the Permissions tab.
You will see 4 options:
Specific employee(s).
Specific role(s).
Specific post(s).
Vacancy creator.
Depending on how many people you would like to see the specific vacancy, you will need to select one of the 4 options and follow the below steps:
Specific employee
Open the vacancy then select Permissions.
Click the Specific Employee(s) checkbox.
Search for the required employee's name within the search by-name field.
Select the employee then click the Add Person button.
Specific role
Open the vacancy then select Permissions.
Select the roles which should have access to view the vacancy.
Selected roles will be highlighted in blue.
Specific post
Open the vacancy then select Permissions.
Select the specific posts required.
Go through the organisation structure and select the posts.
Green tick appears.
Vacancy creator
Open the vacancy then select Permissions.
Select Vacancy Creator then click Save
Once you are happy with the Permission settings, click Save.
You just need to pick the option that matches how many people need access.
