There is no setting to check the use working pattern option when an employee is booking leave.
Because of that, the usual approach is:
Make sure employees are aware of the checkbox when submitting leave.
Ask approvers to review the leave request before confirming, especially to check whether the working pattern option is applied correctly.
So, itâs more of a process or guideline thing rather than something you can enforce in the system.
