Create a task within self-service

You can create a task within self-service, in a few easy steps.

Depending on how your system is configured, Tasks will be available under your Self-Service tab. This can be used to create a quick task to employee's and colleagues.

To do this please follow the steps below:

  1. Click into Self Service.

    1. The Task tab will appear in the menu.

  2. This will populate a screen showing:

    • Open Tasks

    • Closed Tasks

    • Sent to Others.

Create a task

To create a task, follow the below steps:

  1. Click on + Add and search for the relevant employee and click on Add Person.

    • The name of the employee will display below as task for

  2. Select from the Type of task you wish to create.

  3. Then you can add a message relating to the type.

    • You are able to set a target date if required.

  4. Click Save.

πŸ“ŒNote: Tasks you send appear on the right under Sent to Others; tasks you receive show up on the left under Inbox. To mark a task as complete, click the checkbox or open the task, this removes it from your Inbox.
