We have introduced a configuration that allows organisations to grant early access to HR features for new starters, helping them feel prepared and engaged ahead of their first day.
The new global setting Enable Pre-Starter Role Access is off by default. When enabled, this setting allows users with a future start date to inherit the permissions of a specified role until their official start date is reached.
This ensures new starters can access important HR information and key documents before their first working day.
📌Note: Access is temporary — it only applies prior to the start date and does not impact permissions once the employee has officially started. For this to be used it is needed a role GUID to determine which permissions pre-starters will inherit.
