Rename a holiday period

You can rename a holiday period, in a few easy steps.

Written by Relu

You may find that you would like to re-name an absence period to say closed after the year.

You can rename a holiday (absence) period mainly to keep your records clear after the year has ended, for example changing it to something like 'Closed after the year' so it’s obvious it’s no longer the current period.

It’s also useful if the original name was a bit generic and you want it to match what it actually represents so it’s easier to find and understand later.

To rename a holiday period, follow the below steps:

  1. Go to Configuration or Admin Settings and select Settings.

  2. Click Module Setting and then click into HR.

  3. Click into Absence Period Scheme.

  4. Choose the Absence period that you like to rename by clicking into it.

    • If it's a previous year and you are unable to see it click Default.

  5. Click Edit on the Right-hand side, then just click into the box you would like to edit.
