To ensure that each user has a unique identity and reduce the administrative burden of password resets, you can set up members with email addresses in Access Evo. Your users can reset their own passwords whenever necessary, verifying who they are by clicking a link in an email.
β
If any of your employees don't have access to an email account, you can create a friendly URL then set them up with a username.
πNote: This is useful for some organisations, but it does mean that administrators are able to change users' passwords and, upon setting up a new username, need to set and share a password with the new member before they can login to change it. As organisation IDs must also be unique, there's more for individual members to remember, so we recommend that you use emails wherever possible.
Create a friendly URL in Access Evo
Click Organisation Settings.
Click General.
Click Create a friendly URL.
πNote: Creating a friendly URL makes it easier for members to sign in. This also enables accounts that don't require a valid email address.
