You can create or edit an Education Type so your organisation can use consistent labels when recording education on employee profiles for example, āDegreeā, āDiplomaā, āApprenticeshipā, āVocationalā, etc.
This helps keep education records standardised, so itās easier to report on and use education info for things like career progression and internal opportunities.
šNote: If youāre updating your own education in Self Service, youāll pick from the available Education Types when you add or amend your education details.
To create or edit an education type, follow the below steps:
Depending on the system setup, click Configuration or Admin Menu and click Settings.
Click Module Settings and then click HR.
Click Education Type and on the right, to create a new type, click Add Education type.
To edit an existing Education Type, from the list, click the Education Type required.
