As an admin you can configure the leaving reason notes and rehire notes fields directly from the termination wizard, and you can make these fields either mandatory or optional.
To find these fields, follow the below steps:
Click Configuration or Settings.
This depends on your system configuration.
Click Settings, then click Field Settings.
Search for TerminationWizard.LeavingReasonNotes and TerminationWizard.RehireNotes.
Click each field and from the Display list, select preferred preference.
Click Save.
