If you need to update your carry forward settings, you should create a new Add Leave Carry Forward with the correct effective date rather than deleting records you've previously used.
Set up a period for the first time
If you're setting up the period for the first time, you need to delete and re-create a period with the correct details from that effective date by following the below steps:
Click Settingsββββββ.
Click Module Settings and select HR.
Click Leave Carry Forward and select Add Leave Carry Forward.
Enter the required details.
Click Save.
Once you've either waited for the automatic overnight calculations or manually push the absence calculations, you can see that the carried forward values are now included in the employee's entitlement for the period.
Amend the leave carry forward setting
To amend the Leave, Carry Forward settings on your system, please follow these steps:
Click Settings, then click Module Settings.
Click HR, then click Leave Carry Forward.
Add the correct settings required for your company:
In days or hours, enter how much leave an employee can carry forward.
Enter the number of months they can use the holiday
Enter a carry leave forward entry dated for the first possible absence period.
