When adding a new employee on the system, you will have an option to enter a continuous service date which can be linked directly to holiday entitlements.
To make sure that the holiday entitlements are using the continuous service date, you will need to set up a length of service holiday entitlement and turn on the holiday entitlement uses continuous service date setting.
To set up a length of service holiday entitlement, follow the below steps:
Click Settings, usually found within Configuration or Admin Menu depending on your system configuration.
Click System Settings and then click on Holidays and Leave Accrual
Click on Entitlement for Period to Use Continuous Service Date (Turn this on / off)
Run batch updates.
