Permissions needed to make changes to availability within my profile

You can change availability within self-service with the correct permission.

To allow for an employee to make changes to the Availability calendar found within their profile in Self Service, the employees need access to the below permissions, either through a role, post or their employment:

  • SelfService Availability.

  • Rota - View Availability to Work.

πŸ€“Tip: No strikethrough for permissions means enabled, strikethrough means disabled.

If all of the elements of these permissions are enabled, employees should be able to set their availability to any of the 3 options (available all day, unavailable and available between) as required.

πŸ“ŒNote: We recommend these permissions are assigned to the employee role which will allow all employees with the role to make amendments to the availability, should you use this functionality.
