An employee's salary screen can display red crosses through the monthly rate, daily rate, and hourly rate, if you have set the employee's payline incorrectly.

To resolve this please follow the below steps:

  1. Find the employee using the organisation search then click Payroll tab.

  2. Click Pay then on the Pay History tab, click the current payline.

  3. Ensure that the pay details are correct for that employee.

  4. If the employee is a salaried employee, the Pay Type should be set to Salary. The Paid area should then be set to For Contracted Hours and Shifts.

  5. Enter the correct contracted days, hours, and FTE hours.

  6. If the employee is hourly paid, the Pay Type should be set to Hourly. The Paid area should then be set to For Hours or Shifts worked.

  7. To amend this area, click Edit. This highlights the option to choose from:

    • Hours from Rota.

    • Hours from Timesheet.

    • Payroll Claims.

  8. The employee's salary screen then shows correctly with the monthly, daily, and hourly rate.

πŸ“ŒNote: You don't have to create another payline, you can amend the current payline to show correctly. If you do not enter the correct details the employee may not export, resulting in the employee not being paid.
