Change the day or time of a scheduled job within Access People Hospitality

You can change the day or time of a scheduled job, in a few easy steps.

⚠️Important: Before changing any scheduled jobs, please ensure that you are fully aware of the impact this change may have. Some jobs are time-critical and have other systems picking up any output from the job. Changing the Access People Hospitality schedule could adversely impact other systems

To change the date or time of a scheduled job you will need to perform the following steps:

  1. Select the Background Processes menu option.

  2. Within the Scheduled Tasks tab search for the required job.

  3. Ensure the Enabled switch is set to On.

  4. Click on the required job and you will be able to see the current schedule at the top of the pop-up window.

  5. To change the schedule of the job, set the Change Schedule switch to Yes.

  6. You will then be able to select from the following options of when the job should run:

    • Every Minute.

    • Define Minute.

    • Every Hour.

    • Define Hour.

    • Multiple Days: This option will allow you to define specific days and a time you wish the job to run.

    • Monthly.

    • Chron Expression: This is a scheduling format and should only be used by experienced users familiar with the format. An incorrect entry here can disable the whole scheduler.

  7. Once you are happy with the new schedule click Save.
