Set up options for absence classes in the tronc module

As an administrator, you can configure option for absence classes in the tronc module in a few easy steps.

You can set up the tronc option on an absence class so that absences of that type are included in the holiday hours calculation inside the Tronc module, when โ€œInclude holiday hoursโ€ is selected.

It lets you choose which absence types should count towards holiday hours in tronc, so your payroll figures stay accurate and match how you want holiday hours treated for different leave types.

To set up options for absence classes in the tronc module, follow the below steps:

  1. Click Configuration then click Settings.

  2. Expand HR then click Absence Class.

  3. Click on the required absence class.

    • You can see a checkbox named Tronc which is defaulted to off.

  4. Select the Tronc checkbox.

    • This means that any absence class with the Tronc checkbox enabled will be included in the holiday hours calculation within the Tronc module when Include holiday hours is selected.
