You can add sickness and holiday records through the rota, without having to go to employee's profile, this can also be useful if a member a staff should be able to add absence for employees, without having access to their profiles.

Once you have the permissions above assigned, follow the steps below:
Go to My Team and then click Team Rotas.
Click on the rota week, in which you want to add a sickness or holiday for an employee.
Click on one of the Days.
For example, the day when an employee was off sick or the day when a holiday starts.
Find the employee, and click on Sickness or Holiday icon within their row on the rota:
Fill out the details, as you would on employee's profile.
Click Save and then click Submit.
πNote: If the employee you have added a holiday in for has a leave approver, the holiday won't show on the rota until it is approved. A sickness record will show on the rota regardless. Both sickness and holiday records will pull through to employee's profile immediately, regardless of if it's pending approval or auto approved.
