A resource cannot be found, or HTTP 404 error message means there has been a problem with accessing the document via the URL address provided.

If you are experiencing this within the Access People system, it may be due to the document you are trying to access having additional characters within the file name which are causing the issue with the URL address.

If the issue is related to the filename, this can be corrected by following the below steps:

  1. Click Content then expand Documents.

  2. Depending on where the document in question is located, expand either Self Service, Employment or Person.

    • Document library documents are located within self-service.

  3. Expand the folder the document belongs then click on the document title in question under the folder.

  4. In the top right, click Edit.

  5. Edit the document description and replace the file with a file that does not have any additional characters in the file name.
