If an employee has permissions attached to their post that aren't being shown on the employee's profile but are enable on the post, this means the permissions haven't cascaded down. No strikethrough for permissions means enabled, strikethrough means disabled.
By waiting a few days, the overnight processes should kick in and the permissions will update.
