This error is caused by an employee who, for their pay, has For Hours or Shifts Worked selected, and no specific pay rate selected.
To change this, follow the below steps:
Find the employee using the organisation search then click Payroll.
Click Pay then click Pay History.
Select them most recent line then select either Hours from Rota, Hours from Timesheet, or Payroll Claims
Click Save.
