Rename an absence period scheme

To help identify your absence periods and keep them relevant, you can update their names.

Rename a holiday period to keep your records clear once the year has ended. For example, update the name to something like Closed after the year; to show it’s no longer the current period.

To rename a holiday period, follow the below steps:

  1. Click Configuration or Admin Settings and select Settings.

  2. Click Module Setting and then click into HR.

  3. Click Absence Period Scheme.

  4. Choose the absence period that you like to rename by clicking into it.

    • If it's a previous year and you are unable to see it click Default.

  5. Click Edit on the right-hand side, then just click into the box you would like to rename.

  6. Click Save.
