Access People Hospitality offer many different options for your employees to clock in and out of their shifts so you can configure which ways are best for your employees.
Clock in with the People HR and Rota Mobile App
Employees in Access Evo can now clock in and out of shifts using the People HR and Rota mobile app. Employees can clock in and out of their shifts through the home screen or the calendar screen, both of which show the current and upcoming shifts for the employee.
Clocking in with the mobile app can be configured so that employees have to be within a set perimeter of the site through geofencing to ensure they are not clocking in away from site. The mobile app uses Access Workspace credentials for logging in but can also use on device biometrics such as Face ID for secure logging in.
Clock in with the Time Tracker / Clock URL
Each Access People system is packaged with the time tracker clock in functionality. Each system has a unique URL address to access the Time Tracker screen. It is recommended this is configured on a tablet in kiosk mode or a computer in a central location for staff to use. Each section in your system can be configured to have a time tracker password and employees will require a Clock PIN to be set within their profile.
Employees can then clock in by selecting their name/shift on the right side of the screen or entering their employee number followed by their clock PIN to clock in and out at the start and end of the shifts. These times will then transfer to the rotas based on the time and attendance rules and be visible in the day view of the rota.
Clock in with a Biometric Clock Device
Access People can link with Biometric Clock Devices from ZKTeco to provide a secure clock in platform linked with employee biometrics such as facial recognition or fingerprint reading. When Access People and the ZKTeco device are linked, employees added to the Access People system will automatically transfer to the clock device where the fingerprint or facial data can be added for the employee to then allow them to clock in on the device.
Biometric data related to the employee is stored locally to the device. It is recommended that the bio-clock devices are kept in a well-lit, low-traffic area that employees can access.
Clock in via a Third-Party EPOS Provider
If you have configured an integration between Access People and your EPOS provider, it is possible for employees to clock in and out on your till system and have the clock times transferred into the Access People rotas.
